“¡Soy nuevo! ¡Necesito a Dios en mi vida! ¿Por dónde empiezo?” ¡Has venido al lugar correcto! Esperamos contar con su presencia. Hasta entonces, por favor revise la información útil en esta página! Comenzar con Dios es tan simple como 1-2-3-4:
- ¡Ten fe en Dios! Acude a él, creyendo en su palabra. ¡Acepte su promesa confiable de salvarlo y ayudarlo!
- Aléjate del pecado. (La palabra de la Biblia para esto es “arrepentirse”). Cuando tus viejos caminos pecaminosos terminan, ese “viejo tú” se está muriendo.
- Entierra al “viejo tú” en una tumba de agua a través del bautismo en el nombre de Jesús, cumpliendo así con Mat. 28:19 obedeciendo Hechos 2:38.
- Conviértase en el “nuevo yo” con la ayuda de Dios, a través del bautismo de su Espíritu Santo (vea Hechos 2, 8, 10, 19). ¡Estás en su iglesia!
Nuestros miembros provienen de todos los ámbitos de la vida, incluidos profesionales como ingenieros, dueños de negocios y gerentes, así como gente común y trabajadora. Todos tenemos una cosa en común: necesitamos a Dios. Todos llegamos a las mismas conclusiones: ninguna cantidad de dinero o posesiones mundanas puede traer una felicidad real y duradera. Y todos necesitamos la liberación del pecado al nacer de nuevo del agua y el Espíritu, de acuerdo con la palabra de Dios (Juan 3: 3-5, Hechos 2: 1-4, Hechos 2: 36-39 y muchos otros versos). De este modo, todos compartimos la misma experiencia de iniciación en la comunidad de Dios: la fe y la obediencia que resultan en nuestro sincero arrepentimiento, nuestro bautismo en agua en el nombre del Señor Jesucristo y la recepción (llenado) del Espíritu Santo, con la inicial, física evidencia de hablar en un idioma que no sea nuestra lengua materna, como lo dice el Espíritu de Dios. Siguiendo esa experiencia fundamental, cada miembro de RDAV busca la paz, la santidad, el fruto del Espíritu y los dones del Espíritu, buscando convertirse en un fiel discípulo de Jesucristo.
Puedes unirte a nosotros en este milagro de nuevo nacimiento, no firmando una tarjeta, sino más bien naciendo en la Iglesia del Señor al responder con fe al evangelio de Jesucristo. En resumen, el evangelio (1 Corintios 15: 1-4) es que:
- Jesús murió por todos (como una sustitución de nuestro castigo, pagando el precio por nuestro pecado);
- Fue enterrado (lo que significa que la muerte no fue fingida sino real, y la compra se completó);
- Resucitó al tercer día (que significa victoria sobre la muerte, el infierno y la tumba, no solo para Él, sino también para todos los que lo siguen con fe).
En nuestra respuesta de fe obediente:
- Por fe, respondemos a su muerte al arrepentirnos (a través del arrepentimiento muere nuestro viejo y pecaminoso estilo de vida) (vea Hechos 2:38, Mateo 4:17 y 9:13, Marcos 1:15, 2:17 y 6:12, Lucas 5:32, 13: 3-5, 15: 7 y 24:47);
- Por fe respondemos a su entierro siendo bautizados con agua en el nombre de Jesús (vea Hechos 2:38, Hechos 4:12 y Hechos capítulos 8, 10, 19 y 22, así como Colosenses 2:12, Efesios 4: 5 , y yo Pedro 3:21). Nos identificamos con Jesucristo al tomar Su nombre sobre nosotros. “Estamos sepultados con el bautismo” (Romanos 6: 4).
- Por fe respondemos a Su resurrección al recibir el don del Espíritu Santo (vea Hechos 2: 1-4, Hechos 2: 36-39 y Hechos capítulos 8, 10 y 19). Así como Cristo recibió el poder de vivir de nuevo, así también se nos otorga el poder de vivir una “nueva vida” (una vida de pureza y poder espiritual) después de ser llenos del Espíritu Santo. “Recibiréis poder, después que haya venido sobre vosotros el Espíritu Santo” (Hechos 1: 8). “… Así como Cristo fue resucitado de la muerte por la gloria del Padre, así también debemos caminar en la vida nueva” (Romanos 6: 4).
La revista Life ha notado que el fenómeno pentecostal de recibir al Espíritu Santo y hablar en lenguas es uno de los eventos más significativos de los últimos cien años. Millones y millones de personas en todo el mundo han nacido de nuevo de acuerdo con la Palabra de Dios. ¿Tienes? La promesa de libertad real espera a aquellos que están listos para ser libres:
“Porque la promesa es para ustedes, y para sus hijos, y para todos los que están lejos, para todos los que el Señor nuestro Dios llame” (Hechos 2:39).

- Have faith in God! Turn to Him, believing in His word. Accept His trustworthy promise to save you and help you!
- Turn away from sin. (The Bible’s word for this is “repent.”) When your old sinful ways end that’s the “old you” dying off.
- Bury the “old you” in a watery grave through baptism in Jesus name, thus fulfilling Mat. 28:19 by obeying Acts 2:38.
- Become the “new you” by God’s help, through the baptism of His Holy Spirit (see Acts 2, 8, 10, 19). You’re in His church!
Our members come from all walks of life, including professionals like engineers, business owners and managers, as well as hardworking common folks. We all have one thing in common: We need God. We all came to the same conclusions: No amount of money or worldly possessions can bring real, lasting happiness. And we all needed deliverance from sin by being born again of the water and Spirit, according to God’s word (John 3:3-5, Acts 2:1-4, Acts 2:36-39, and many other verses). Thus we all share the same experience of initiation into God’s community: Faith and obedience resulting in our sincere repentance, our water baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the receiving (infilling) of the Holy Spirit, with the initial, physical evidence of speaking in a language other than our mother tongue, as the Spirit of God gives the utterance. Following that foundational experience, each RDAV member pursues after peace, holiness, the fruit of the Spirit, and the gifts of the Spirit, seeking to become a stalwart disciple of Jesus Christ.
You can join us in this miracle of new birth, not by signing a card, but rather by being born into the Lord’s Church by responding in faith to the gospel of Jesus Christ. In short, the gospel (I Corinthians 15:1-4) is that:
- Jesus died for all (as a substitution for our punishment, paying the price for our sin);
- He was buried (signifying the death was not feigned but real, and the purchase complete);
- He was resurrected on the third day (signifying victory over death, hell, and the grave, not for Himself only, but also for all who follow Him in faith).
In our reply of obedient faith:
- By faith we respond to His death by repenting (through repentance our old, sinful lifestyle dies) (see Acts 2:38, Matthew 4:17 and 9:13, Mark 1:15, 2:17, and 6:12, Luke 5:32, 13:3-5, 15:7, and 24:47);
- By faith we respond to His burial by being water baptized in Jesus name (see Acts 2:38, Acts 4:12, and Acts chapters 8, 10, 19 & 22, as well as Colossians 2:12, Ephesians 4:5, and I Peter 3:21). We become identified with Jesus Christ by taking His name upon us. “We are buried with by baptism” (Romans 6:4).
- By faith we respond to His resurrection by receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost (see Acts 2:1-4, Acts 2:36-39, and Acts chapters 8, 10, & 19). Just as Christ received power to live anew, so also we are endued with power to live a “new life” (a life of purity and spiritual power) after we are filled with the Holy Spirit. “Ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you” (Acts 1:8). “…Like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life” (Romans 6:4).
Life magazine has noted that the Pentecostal phenomenon of receiving the Holy Ghost and speaking with tongues is one of the most significant events of the last hundred years. Millions upon millions of people worldwide have now been born again according to God’s Word. Have you? The promise of real freedom awaits those who are ready to be free:
“For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call” (Acts 2:39).
